The kids really loved doing Algebra in the last chapter and learned so much about problem solving and explaining their thinking out loud to their classmates. They have progressed in so many ways in understanding that explaining and reworking the problem is important and shows their thinking.

CITY CLEAN UP DAY!! The Mayor read a proclamation and the kids were given safety vests and gloves. We had so many city staff helping and working with together. They kids learned so much and really worked hard. They LOVED it! We had parents come on this trip and as you can see Sunjay's Mom was super helpful. The city staff all gathered at the 1912 Center for lunch and so did we. The kids got pizza and lots of it. Then we went to the library and there was time for research of books on the library computer system, time to read. The kids were excellent on this trip because of how responsible they were and how tuned in to their surroundings.
