Students writing up their process and solutions for solving math problems. They talk about their thinking and show how they broke a problem apart for find the information, planned their idea out, did the calculations, and finally check their work.

Paulette Jordan visited and talked about the importance of knowing how government works and what the job of a legislator is like. She talked about how great Idaho is and that she loves being part of taking care of it and its citizens.

Morning Meeting Leaders decided on the game of "Getting you to Laugh". Teams work to do silly things and sounds to get classmates to smile.


The list of items that the kids would want to take on a loooooooooong trip if they could only take one thing. I write a message on the outside whiteboard in the morning everyday and some days there is question for the kids to answer for us to discuss.

 WOW! These WSU Veterinarian Students worked with me to create curriculum that connected to our studies. They taught about the most used animals- oxen, mules, and horses- on the Oregon Trail. It was such a fabulous lesson!
Hayley helped me by holding Clarissssa while I cleaned her tank. 

Ms. Burnett, Nana to Elliana and Adeline, taught pen and ink and water color information for our LCHS project. The kids love using the turkey feathers to write with.






Water color techniques are tried-wet and dry brush and the patience to let the paint dry are important.
