MCS Spelling Bee 2018- We had 60 kids participate

This picture is from the first rounds and Davis M. becomes the winner. He's in 8th grade and will do a great job representing MCS.

Feb. 7, all the students gathered in the MPR to watch or participate in the MCS School Spelling Bee. Some of the kids had been part of Spelling Bee Club that started back in December, but most just jumped into give it a try on this morning.
We were helped by 3 terrific faculty members-- Ms. Buehler was the Pronouncer and has been for the last 3 Spelling Bees. Ms. Shinham and Mr. Collins did an excellent job as Judges.

The Bee went 12 Rounds this year and Davis Montgomery will represent our school at the Regionals in Lewiston in March. From there there is a the State Competition and the finals are in Washington D.C.

There was such an air of fun-- which is exactly what the Bee does! See you all next year!! Beeeee There!!
