Such a full year! Finishing with Latah County Historical Society and more!

Teacher Choo did a fantastic job teaching Chinese twice a week. She was very thorough with pronunciation and the kids were having short conversations. She taught them song and really brought another culture to our students. It was a true exchange. She taught through song and lots of choral learning. We really enjoyed having her with us!

This year we worked with Mr. Zach from the Latah County Historical Society. The kids did research and created stories about objects given to the society over the years. There were many drafts, writers's circles and revisions, Creating a past to an object is hard and this project provided the opportunity for some deep thinking about the 5 Ws.
